BristleCropHolders
The current version is shown below. Parts and support are still available for previous versions.
Baler Pick-up Tyne Fixers
As farmers ourselves, we use many varied types of machinery for a multitude of tasks, from ploughing the soil to harvesting crops, whether it be grain, hay or silage.
As a result, we understand the frustration when things don't work as they should.
This has led to us designing and making an improved system of attaching Baler pick up tynes to prevent them breaking prematurely.

After being tested in Mung Bean crops and in response to customer feedback, we have updated the mounting bracket of the BristleCropHolder so that is more robust.
This version has been used on Chick Peas and Lupins, with customers telling us that they have reduced crop harvest losses by 50 to 70% in Lupins!

What our customers have said about the Bristle Crop Holders:
"Worth their weight in gold!"
"They work well with sorghum, by holding the balance of the head with the bristles supporting the head while and after it is cut by the knife to allow it to only fall back into the header front."
"The Bristle Crop-holders are light weight to reduce excess load on the header."
"They are working well with most crops that it is more convenient to just leave them on the header!"
"To pay for themselves we needed to save 20 kilos of lupins per hectare - they saved 50 - 100 kilos / hectare, for an $8,000 out lay, so about $20,000 was extra profit!" (PS, that was with version 3!)
What we don't want!
Version 4
Version 4 is an updated and improved Version 2.
Along with the VibraBrush it seems to be the most effective for Chick Peas, Lupins, Mung Beans and other crops.
An outstanding performance has been observed at the trial & demonstration field days, held at Rupanyup, Elmore and Shepperton Vic, harvesting both Chick Peas and Lupins.
The bristles supported the stalk as the knife cut it and reduced the number of pods being flicked off the top of the plant. The VibraBrush kept the crop moving away from the knife and up onto the draper, keeping the cut crop away from the edge of the draper reducing the losses further!
The VibraBrush acts as an aid to getting the crop up to where it can be more effectively pulled in by the pick up reel.
VibraBrush is pulled side to side by the knife to propel the cut crop up onto the draper and keep it up, away from the edge of the draper, to reduce the amount of pod/seed lost though entering the draper drive!
One of the features of the VibraBrush is that it can be angled to suit various fronts simply by laying it down or up.
This front has the Vibra Brush fitted!
